In Saudi Arabia, two types of fuel are available at all gas stations: “Premium 91” from green pumps, and “Super Premium 95” from red pumps. But prior to 2006 the public didn’t know what an octane rating was, so an education campaign was needed.

When ARAMCO approached us with this project, we immediately recommended a dynamic microsite that mimics the scene at an everyday petrol station. It has a simple yet responsive interface with a modifiable database of cars from 1995 up to today and a brilliant interactive user interface (UI), developed in compliance to Saudi ARAMCO’s security standards.

It is also optimized for multiple different browsers and devices such as smartphones and tablets –almost 97% of the of the microsite’s traffic is generated through smart devices and has been shared more than 200,000 times, gaining immense popularity among local and international audiences with 1.2 million users within the first week of its launch during Saudi International Motor Show 2014.
